Welcome Back, Dragons!
Today, Springdale Park Elementary School in Atlanta opened its doors for face to face learning for the first time this school year. The face to face plan is for only some of the students to attend school in person, while the remainder of the students will continue with virtual learning. Springdale Park was so excited to have students and teachers on campus again, so of course, I had to help them celebrate! I delivered three huge greetings for the school, including one for their kindergarten center. I hope everyone at Springdale Park has a safe and successful return! Go Dragons!

Remote Teacher Appreciation!
Hickory Flat Elementary School in Canton, Georgia is so grateful for their rock star teachers. As the pandemic continues, Hickory Flat has adjusted their schedule to ensure everyone’s safety. Their teachers have been working hard to make sure that remote learning is a success for every student. As a small show of gratitude, the school asked me to deliver a big greeting for the teachers. I hope the teachers know how much their community loves them!

Ms. LaChance Turns 50!
Last week, I was at Sandpiper Elementary School in Sunrise, Florida for a very special reason. Ms. LaChance is the principal of the school and beloved by students, faculty, and staff. The school administration wanted to do something really special for Ms. LaChance’s 50th birthday. They planned a drive-by celebration and invited everyone, including the mayor of Sunrise, the fire department, teachers, and of course, students. I delivered a big birthday greeting for the occasion as a surprise. It was wonderful to see how much the Sunrise community loves and appreciates their educators! Happy 50th birthday, Ms. LaChance!

Siblings Sharing a Birthday Week!
This week I headed to some warmer weather in Phoenix so I could celebrate two birthdays! Luke turned 17 and Meghan turned 19 in the same week. Meghan is in her first year of college and Luke is still in high school at Brophy Prep. We loved making the week extra special and festive for these siblings! Happy birthday, Luke and Meghan!

Well, 2020 has certainly been a year! This year has been really hard. Through a lot of sadness in the world, we have made it our mission to create happy moments for people. Winder’s Wonderland
I was so excited to help Indian Trace Elementary School in Weston, Florida celebrate the holidays! Indian Trace hosted a drive-by winter holiday celebration. The school principal is named Amy Winder, so naturally, they created “Winder’s Wonderland”! I love the play on words and had a great time delivering this sign. We hope everyone had a great time!

Happy Hanukkah!
Thursday night is the first night of Hanukkah (or Chanukah). We are getting into the spirit of the holiday everywhere from Sandy Springs to Boca Raton. This holiday celebrates the miracle of light, the strength and resolve of the Maccabees, and the enduring tradition of the Jewish people. Hanukkah lasts for eight days and we are excited to celebrate with all of you! We hope you enjoy some latkes (potato pancakes) and sufganiyot (jelly donuts) while you spin your dreidel. Happy Hanukkah!

Jenn’s December Birthday
Jenn’s favorite colors are red and green, which is perfect because her birthday falls during the Christmas season! I headed all the way to Phoenix to help Jenn’s friends set up this birthday greeting to go with her red and green holiday decor. This is definitely festive and in the Christmas spirit. Welcome Home, Ethan!
I recently heard there was a little boy in need of a warm welcome home, so I got right to work! Ethan is a happy one year old boy who needed heart surgery. His parents brought him all the way up north for almost a month for surgery prep, surgery, and post-op. Ethan’s parents have wonderful friends who wanted to welcome them all home but still be at a safe distance. That’s where I come in! I delivered this greeting a few hours before Ethan and his parents arrived back home after their long journey. Ethan’s mom told me that Ethan has the best personality! He loves sticking out his tongue, running around, “reading”, eating anything you give him, FaceTime with friends and family, riding in his wagon, and playing with his blocks, soccer ball, and basketball. We are so glad we could help welcome him home and we are so happy he is healthy. We wish Ethan continued good health.
