This delivery for the Mills family was a special one! Corey is a teacher in Michigan, and Scott is a crime scene detective in Toledo. They have three adult children and for the past year, were fostering two of Corey’s middle school students. The Mills family worked tirelessly to make sure that the two boys could officially become part of their family, despite a long journey. Finally, Corey and Scott learned they would be able to adopt both boys!

 

Due to COVID-19, making the adoption official via court appearance could only happen on Zoom. Scott’s coworkers in the crime scene unit wanted to make sure that the day was even more memorable, so they asked me to fly over to decorate the yard! Corey and Scott had matching shirts for the whole family too! Congratulations to the wonderful Mills family from all of us at Sign Greeters!
