The Lake Worth Street Painting Festival happens annually in downtown Lake Worth Beach. The festival draws in hundreds of thousands of people for a 2-day art festival featuring incredibly talented chalk artists from around the world! Two main streets are closed off s0 hundreds of artists can create amazing art using the street as a canvas. Due to Covid this year’s festival had to be canceled. A few Lake Worth Beach residents coordinated a campaign to create chalk art “where you are” thus creating a VIRTUAL Street Painting Festival for 2021! An artist named Hector Diaz invited some artist friends to create art in his mother’s long driveway. It was a mini version of the festival! I delivered a greeting to recognize their efforts and so that passersby would know to stop and look for the art!
