October is Breast Cancer Awareness month! Our Toledo birdies participated in a virtual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 2020. This annual event raises money for breast cancer research, provides educational information about breast cancer, and brings people together to honor the lives of everyone who has been affected by this terrible disease. Please make sure you do monthly self-exams, regular clinical exams with your physician, as well as mammograms beginning when your physician advises. Early detection can save your life.
