A Sunset 50th Birthday!
Sometimes I get really lucky and I get to deliver greetings at just the right time of day. When I was delivering this milestone 50th birthday greeting for Dawn, I looked up and realized the sky was on fire with the most beautiful sunset. I always think my greetings look good, but wow did this sky make it pop! It doesn’t get much better than this!

Sign Greeters Hits the Courts!
The Toledo Tennis Club is the 15th oldest tennis club in the United States! I grabbed my racket and flew right over to Ottawa Hills, Ohio so I could deliver these greetings for them. Luckily, outdoor tennis is pretty safe and it’s easy to follow COVID guidelines! I’ll definitely be back, but I may need to work on my serve in the meantime…

I don’t know about you, but I have had a very busy week! I’ve been flying all over delivering greetings for birthdays, back to school, new babies, and even a bar mitzvah! Sign Greeters at New Prospect Elementary School
Just like Northview High School, New Prospect Elementary School is one of the schools in Fulton County that is heading back to school virtually! Last week we helped them welcome their teachers back to campus. This week we helped them show some school spirit for all of the students who will be learning remotely this year. Sign Greeters Celebrates Northview High School Teachers and Staff
It’s August, which means a lot of the country is heading back to school–or would be heading back, under normal, non-pandemic circumstances. I heard that all Fulton County, Georgia public schools are going to be virtual while we are still battling COVID. Since Northview High School teachers and staff returned to work last week, I wanted to help their PTO welcome everyone back to school during this challenging time. I put up a greeting at each entrance of the school so everyone would know just how much we appreciate the hard work of the teachers and staff. Everyone at Sign Greeters wishes the entire Northview High School community a safe and successful school year! Go Titans!

A Grandkids Only Party
I heard about a special party happening and had to be there! This wonderful grandfather decided to throw a party for all of his grandchildren, ranging in age from 3 years old to 22 years old! He wanted to make them feel extra special, so I got to work. This greeting was ready in time to welcome all of the grandkids to the party!

Celebrating a Family Sweet 16 from Afar!
Our Orlando owners were supposed to be in Miami to celebrate their niece’s milestone birthday. Sadly, due to COVID, her party had to be canceled. When I heard that Madison wouldn’t be able to have a Sweet Sixteen bash, I decided to help Susanne and Evan do something special. We set up a birthday greeting in their yard so we could send Madison a photo birthday card! Madison loved the special greeting and it made her smile, despite not having the party she’d planned.

Sign Greeters Delivers for Eve’s Driveway Birthday Party!
Someone let me know that Eve was planning to celebrate her 17th birthday with a dinner party in the driveway. I couldn’t let her celebrate without proper decor, so I flew on over to surprise her with a bright and colorful birthday greeting at her home in Sandy Springs. Her parents really wanted it to pop! I really hope she and her friends got great pics for the ‘gram (and I hope you follow me on Instagram too!)

Sign Greeters Thanks Our Healthcare Heroes!
Some of my Florida Birdies told me they wanted to do something nice for the medical and hospital staff at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. I dropped everything and flew over just so I could help with the surprise! All of us at Sign Greeters are always thankful for healthcare workers, but we are especially appreciative during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their care and sacrifice is unmatched, and it’s important that we show our gratitude. The Lakewood Ranch Medical Center staff told me that they were very surprised and grateful for the greeting! I hope I can do more to help bring smiles to these healthcare heroes in the future.

Sign Greeters Brightens a Rainy Birthday for Freddie!
When I heard that baseball-loving Freddie was turning 6, I knew I had to be there! While I was delivering Freddie’s birthday greeting, it started to get a little rainy. Freddie’s mom assured me that the rain didn’t stop the celebration, and even said that I made it “extra special”! I caught a quick peek of Freddie coming out to see her greeting and she was definitely surprised!

Sign Greeters Celebrates a Very Special Family!
This delivery for the Mills family was a special one! Corey is a teacher in Michigan, and Scott is a crime scene detective in Toledo. They have three adult children and for the past year, were fostering two of Corey’s middle school students. The Mills family worked tirelessly to make sure that the two boys could officially become part of their family, despite a long journey. Finally, Corey and Scott learned they would be able to adopt both boys!
Due to COVID-19, making the adoption official via court appearance could only happen on Zoom. Scott’s coworkers in the crime scene unit wanted to make sure that the day was even more memorable, so they asked me to fly over to decorate the yard! Corey and Scott had matching shirts for the whole family too! Congratulations to the wonderful Mills family from all of us at Sign Greeters!

A Last Minute Sign Greeters Birthday Challenge
Late one night, I got word that Perri had to cancel her 13th birthday party at the last minute. Her mom wanted to know if I could make it to their yard in time to set up something special for a drive by birthday. I didn’t want to let them down, so I promised I would figure out how to make it in time! I had an extra cup of coffee and flew extra fast just so I could deliver this birthday greeting!
